Something for the Twins [S.O.P. Series]

Something for the Twins [S.O.P. Series]

I first need to clarify that H-G Hope Baby is a singular child floating around in my womb.  I am not having two, despite the chances being higher in my family tree.  This pattern I’ll be sharing is for other people that are having twins.  Or if you want to make a simple baby cocoon, follow the pattern and tweak the emblem so it’s just for one adorable baby instead of two.  So just to say again:  I AM NOT HAVING TWINS; I’m only waddling for one.

    Hey Maggie,
I have a question about row 4 under circular ensemble, it reads *1 hdc in first and second, 2 hdc’s in second*, reapeat all the way around (40) does that mean that I do 3 hdcs in 2nd or was that a mistake and you meant for the 2 hdcs to be in the 3rd? confused???

Hi Susanne! Yep, you caught an error. Sorry about that! I’ve fixed it in the post now, but row four should read as follows:

R4: *1 hdc in first and second, 2 hdc’s in third* repeat all the way around (40).

Hi Laura! I used a technique called “slip stitch embroidery” or “crochet embroidery” where you basically slip stitch across a finished piece. You can find a post I did about it here: https://www.tugboatyarning.com/slipstitch-embroidery/ Otherwise, you can just use a darning needle and stitch the letters, too. However works best for you! Good luck! ~Maggie
